BilancioBudget Heerhugowaard helps you back on your feet and regain control through a personal approach to protective management (beschermingsbewind) or budget management (budgetbeheer).

How can we help you?

We want to take your financial troubles off your hands, so that you can focus on what matters to you. We believe it is important that you feel comfortable and supported. We will therefore guide you throughout the entire process (particularly in the beginning). For example, we'll visit your home (or another location of your choice), we'll go with you to the municipality and/or debt counsellor (schuldhulpverlener). We will do our best to maintain a good relation with any other care providers.

Protective management in a nutshell

• After you agree for protective management, a judge will appoint a protective manager of your choosing. Note that only a judge can bring protective management to an end.
• The financial management of your household is taken over by us
• We take over your (financial) mail
• We contact possible creditors and can set up a debt settlement
• Your salary / benefits / other income is deposited into the management account (beheerrekening). This is managed by us, and we use it to pay your fixed costs.
• You will receive an allowance account (leefgeldrekening) and debit card. Money is deposited on this weekly, and can be used at your own discretion.
